Christina Vancouver Counsellor Psychologist

Meet Christina

I am a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia with a specialization in completing ADHD assessments for children and adults. I’m here to create a space where you feel understood—not judged. If you’ve been struggling with focus, organization, emotional regulation, or feeling “stuck,” an ADHD assessment can provide the insight needed to move forward with confidence. My clients often describe feeling both supported and guided, with clear direction and collaboration with the trained therapists (RCC & RSW) at Vancouver Counselling Clinic after our assessments are completed.

  • Summative ADHD Mood assessment – $1,510
    • 7.5 hours total
    • 1 to 2 hours of online session
    • 5.5 to 6.5 hours of report writing

A concise overview of the findings with a diagnosis, if appropriate, and targeted recommendations.

This report provides a general conclusion of the assessment, including a summary of the diagnostic outcome and recommendations based on the data collected. This option is ideal for those seeking a streamlined report without a detailed breakdown of each measured area.

  • Full ADHD/Mood assessment – $1,700
    • 9 hours total
    • 1-2 hours of online session
    • 7-8 hours of report writing

A comprehensive report with a diagnosis, if appropriate, and targeted recommendations.

This report provides a detailed analysis of each area measured during the assessment, offering a thorough understanding of the individual’s strengths and challenges. This option is often chosen by students or anyone who prefers an in-depth analysis of the assessment results.

Both assessments can be used to identify:

  • The progression of ADHD symptoms through developmental years of children and teens
  • The recommended work accomodation and school accomodation based on abilities

Each assessment provides a clear understanding of strengths, challenges, and actionable recommendations tailored to your daily life.

My assessments go beyond surface-level symptoms checklists offered at cheaper rates by nurse practitioners who have not attended higher levels of education specialized in psychology nor have extensive experiences working within clinical settings for mental health. Surface-level symptoms checklists can often increase your chances of being misdiagnosed and mistreated with pharmaceuticals.

Misdiagnoses and subsequent use of pharmaceuticals may worsen your mental health and physical health, so please be sure to ask your healthcare providers about their education and training on ADHD specifically.

ADHD medications (often stimulants) are medications that should only be taken if you have functioning impairment and both historical and current symptoms that match the diagnostic requirement for ADHD.

Your ADHD assessment may be covered by your insurance provider if you have coverage for Registered Psychologists; however, with each provider, policy and plan being unique, we recommend getting in touch with your insurance provider to confirm your plan’s coverage for ADHD assessments completed by a Registered Psychologist in advance of your appointment.
