Hear from our clients…
It’s such a relief to talk to someone who actually gets what it’s like being LGBTQ+. No weird looks, no judgment—just real support. I can finally be myself.
They really understand what it’s like growing up with Asian family expectations. I didn’t have to explain everything from scratch. Therapy helped me find a way to set boundaries without feeling like I was disrespecting my culture.
I honestly couldn’t do therapy if it weren’t for the evening and weekend times. They really work around my schedule, and it never feels rushed. Super knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
I was completely burnt out from work. As a healthcare worker, I’m used to putting others first—but therapy helped me draw the line and get some balance back.
I used to feel like anxiety was running the show. Now, I’ve actually got tools that help. I finally feel like I’m in the driver’s seat.
It’s so ADHD-friendly here. The sessions have structure, but there’s also room to adapt depending on how my brain’s working that day. No judgment—just stuff that actually helps.
For the first time in a long time, I feel safe opening up. It’s clear they really understand trauma, and the way they show up—it just makes healing feel doable.
I was totally running on empty. Therapy helped me reset, figure out where to draw the line, and start feeling like myself again.

Self-Confidence Counselling FAQ
Is this about confidence in general, or specifically about body image?
This program is focused specifically on body image and appearance-based self-worth — how you see and relate to your body, and separating your sense of value from how you look. If you’re looking for confidence support in a different area, like work, social situations, or dating, our individual counselling covers that more broadly.
What if my body image struggles come with a more complicated relationship with food or eating?
This program focuses on the emotional and self-worth side of body image, so if a more complex relationship with food or eating is part of the picture, mention that on your matching call — your therapist can help connect you with more specialized support alongside or instead of this program, whichever fits best.
Will this involve talking about specific diets, weight, or exercise plans?
No — this program isn’t about changing your body or prescribing any kind of diet or exercise routine. It’s about examining where your body image beliefs come from and building a sense of worth that isn’t tied to appearance at all.
Is this only for women, or can men and non-binary people benefit too?
Anyone can benefit. Body image pressure shows up differently across genders, but the underlying struggle — tying self-worth to appearance — isn’t unique to any one group, and this program is built to work with whoever’s going through it.
Is this program covered by insurance?
Yes, we offer direct billing with most major Canadian insurance providers, including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, and Pacific Blue Cross — the same coverage available across our other services.
What happens after the three sessions if I want to keep working on this?
Three sessions gives you a solid foundation, but self-worth and body image work can take longer for some people to fully settle. If you want to keep going, moving into ongoing individual counselling is a natural next step, and your therapist can help you figure out what’s worth continuing.
