What is Direct Billing?
At Vancouver Counselling Clinic, we work with TELUS eClaims, Sun Life & Pacific Blue Cross to provide direct billing services for select insurance providers to make it easier for you to use your extended health benefits. We will help you bill your insurance company directly with the cost of your session, so that you don’t have to pay out of pocket for a covered benefit and wait for reimbursement. Please check this following list of insurance providers to ensure you are qualified for direct billing service.

Check that your insurance provider is on the list below!
(If they’re not on the list, we will not be able to do direct billing service on your behalf.)
On your plan!
Check that your insurance plan covers Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) or Registered Social Worker (RSW). If only one of these are covered in your plan, please check the therapist’s profile on our website for their specific qualifications.
Submit Your Details!
Send an email to billing@vancouvercounsellingclinic.com and include:
1) PHOTO: BENEFIT CARD
A photo of the front AND back of your benefit card
2) CONSENT FORM: SIGNED
A completed and signed form for the consent of direct billing

Billing Post-Session!
We will direct bill the portion covered by your policy to your insurance provider, and if there is a remaining amount left, we will bill that to you for payment with your credit card on file.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We cannot guarantee that your insurance provider will always approve your invoiced sessions. If a claim is ever denied, you will be informed by us through email and your credit card will be charged for the outstanding amount on file as per our financial policy.
